HA filler for facial contouring, deep folds, chin, nose and jawline, by a doctor
Hyaluronic acid (HA) filler restores lost volume and refines facial proportions. It lasts 9–18 months and can be dissolved with an enzyme if needed. Injected with a blunt cannula or under ultrasound guidance in higher-risk areas.
What HA filler is
Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the skin and joints, where it holds water and fills the spaces between cells. HA filler is hyaluronic acid that has been cross-linked into a gel that holds its shape in the tissue for many months before the body gradually breaks it down. It is used to replace volume lost with age, such as in the nasolabial folds, temples and under the eyes, and to refine proportions, such as the chin, nose and jawline. Its key advantage is that it is reversible: if you are unhappy or a problem arises, the doctor can inject the enzyme hyaluronidase to dissolve it within a day.

Brands we use and how we choose
Thai FDA-registered fillers the doctor may choose include Juvederm (Voluma, Volux, Volbella, Volite), Restylane (Lyft, Defyne, Kysse, Eyelight), Belotero, Neauvia and Teosyal. Each product differs in firmness (G prime) and lifting capacity. Areas that must bear load, such as the chin or jaw, use a firm product, while thin-skinned areas such as the under-eyes or lips use a soft one. Using the wrong product for the area is the main cause of lumps and unnatural results. Before every injection the doctor opens the box so you can see the product name, lot number and expiry date.
On the day
What to expect afterwards
Filler that enters or compresses a blood vessel can starve tissue of blood. It is rare but serious. The highest-risk areas are the nose, between the brows and the nasolabial folds. Warning signs are unusually severe pain, skin turning pale white or mottled purple, grey patches, or blurred or lost vision in one eye. If this happens during or after injection, hyaluronidase must be injected immediately. The clinic has the enzyme ready at every injection and gives you a way to reach the doctor afterwards. Who should not have filler: women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, anyone with an infection or inflamed acne at the injection site, anyone with an active flare of an autoimmune condition, or anyone who has had a permanent substance (liquid silicone) injected in the same area

Frequently Asked Questions
Can filler form lumps or migrate?
It can, if the wrong product is chosen for the area, if it is injected too superficially, or if large amounts are injected repeatedly. The advantage of HA is that if this happens it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.
Can nose filler replace rhinoplasty?
Yes, for people who want a slightly higher bridge or to disguise a hump, lasting around a year. It does not suit those who want a smaller nose or who already have a silicone implant, who should consult our surgical team.
Will my face swell a lot after filler?
For the first 1–2 days the swelling exceeds the final result, especially in the lips and under the eyes. The true result shows after 2 weeks, which is why the doctor injects a measured amount and tops up at the review rather than over-filling at the start.
How can I spot counterfeit filler?
Ask to see the box and lot number before injection. Registered fillers carry a Thai-language sticker from the importer, and a price far below the market rate is a warning sign.
