Body Firming radiofrequency to tighten body skin and reduce cellulite and laxity
Radiofrequency (RF) at 0.3–0.5 MHz warms the dermis and superficial fat by 3–5 °C, never exceeding 42 °C, stimulating new collagen and improving circulation in the fat layer that causes orange-peel skin. A course of 10–15 sessions, with no wound.
How RF helps body skin
Cellulite forms when fat beneath the skin pushes up between the fibrous bands that anchor the skin, together with thinning skin and poor circulation. Loose skin after weight loss or pregnancy results from collagen and elastin fibres that have stretched and are slow to regenerate. Low-frequency radiofrequency at 0.3–0.5 MHz penetrates deeper than the high-frequency RF used on the face. When the skin is warmed to 40–42 °C and held there for several minutes, collagen fibres contract slightly at once and collagen-producing cells are stimulated to build new fibres over the following weeks. The heat also improves circulation and lymphatic drainage in the superficial fat, so the skin becomes gradually smoother and firmer. The effect is moderate, not comparable to surgical removal of excess skin, and needs a continuous course.
Who it suits
Orange-peel skin on the thighs, buttocks and abdomen
Grades 1–2 (visible when pinched or standing) respond better than deep, clearly dimpled grades
Loose abdomen after pregnancy or weight loss
Skin with reasonable remaining elasticity. For very loose, hanging skin, discuss surgery with the surgical team
Loose upper arms and inner thighs
Areas where the skin is thin and loosens with age
After Cool Shape or V-Shape
Helps the skin tighten as the fat layer reduces
Anyone wanting a comfortable, gentle option
Feels like a warm compress and fits into a lunch break
On the day (10–60 minutes depending on the area)
Course and results
Pregnancy; a pacemaker or implanted electronic device; metal implants in the treatment area (including permanent filler or silicone); dermatitis, open wounds or infection in the area; severe varicose veins or a blood clot; an active autoimmune flare; diabetes with peripheral neuropathy (reduced heat sensation, risk of burns); and medication that increases heat sensitivity. A rare risk is a superficial burn or temporary dark mark if the skin gets too hot, which we prevent by measuring the skin temperature throughout treatment

Frequently Asked Questions
Can cellulite be cured completely?
No, because the fibrous bands and fat beneath the skin remain. RF thickens and smooths the skin so the dimpling is visibly shallower, and periodic maintenance is needed. Deep, clearly dimpled grades may also need release of the fibrous bands.
How hot does it get? Does it hurt?
The skin is kept at no more than 42 °C. It feels like a warm compress or hot stone, with no stinging. If it feels too hot, tell us at once so the energy can be adjusted.
How many sessions before I see results?
Most people notice firmer skin after sessions 4–6, with the full result after 10–15 sessions, depending on skin condition and age.
Can RF reduce fat?
Only slightly, in the superficial fat layer. Its main purpose is skin tightening. For fat reduction, use Cool Shape or V-Shape and follow with RF.
