IV Vitamin Therapy

IV Vitamin Therapy: intravenous vitamins in a formula the doctor matches to you

Vitamins and minerals delivered directly into the bloodstream, with greater absorption than oral supplements. Choose from the clinic's four original formulas or newer options such as Myers' cocktail, Immune, Recovery and NAD+. Takes 20–60 minutes, with a doctor's assessment before every session.

How IV vitamins differ from oral vitamins

Oral vitamins must pass through the stomach, intestines and liver before reaching the bloodstream, so the amount the body actually receives is limited by absorption, particularly in people with digestive problems, stress, poor sleep or recent illness. Intravenous delivery puts nutrients directly into the bloodstream in the amount the doctor prescribes, and replaces fluids at the same time. IV vitamins are therefore a useful support when the body needs it, not a replacement for good food and enough sleep. Every formula uses Thai FDA-registered products, mixed fresh in front of you.

The procedure day

Doctor's assessmentMedical history, medication, allergies, blood pressure and pulse. Before your first high-dose vitamin C session, the doctor tests for G6PD
Formula chosen and mixed freshThe nurse mixes the vitamins as prescribed in front of you, showing you the vials and expiry dates
Cannula placed and infusionA small needle is used and the infusion runs slowly over 20–60 minutes (NAD+ 2–4 hours). You rest in a reclining chair with Wi-Fi and a blanket
Observation and homeThe nurse monitors you throughout. Afterwards you rest for 5–10 minutes, then go home and carry on working as normal
Who should tell the doctor, or should not have it

Anyone with G6PD deficiency (high-dose vitamin C must not be given), chronic kidney disease or impaired kidney function, kidney stones, liver disease, heart failure, iron overload, pregnancy or breastfeeding, blood thinners, or a history of allergy to any vitamin must tell the doctor before every session. In some cases the doctor adjusts the formula or advises against treatment

What you should know, honestly

  • Part of the refreshed feeling afterwards comes from the fluids you receive. Skin benefits require ongoing sessions alongside skincare
  • Possible side effects include pain or bruising at the needle site, a cool feeling along the arm, a metallic taste and temporary facial flushing, mostly resolving within 1–2 days
  • The suitable frequency for most people is 1–2 sessions a week initially, then spacing out to every 2–4 weeks. There is no need for daily sessions
  • The clinic does not inject or infuse skin-whitening substances that are not registered for that purpose, and does not give intravenous stem cells or exosomes
  • Drinking water and eating beforehand makes the cannula easier to place and reduces dizziness

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it hurt, and how long does it take?

It hurts only when the cannula is placed, like a blood test. During the infusion you may feel slight coolness along the arm. It takes 20–60 minutes depending on the formula; NAD+ is infused slowly over 2–4 hours.

How often should I have it?

It depends on your goals and test results. Generally 1–2 sessions a week for the first 3–4 weeks, then spacing out to every 2–4 weeks. The doctor advises the suitable frequency; there is no need to go more often than that.

Will it make my skin whiter?

Vitamin C provides antioxidants and supports collagen production. Most people find their skin looks brighter with ongoing sessions alongside sun protection and skincare, but it does not change your natural skin colour, and the clinic does not give intravenous skin-whitening substances.

I have a medical condition. Can I have it?

The doctor must assess you first. Kidney disease, heart disease, G6PD deficiency and pregnancy are contraindications for certain formulas. Most other conditions can be accommodated by adjusting the formula. Tell us all the medication you take at your consultation.

What is NAD+, and how does it differ from ordinary vitamins?

NAD+ is a coenzyme every cell uses to produce energy and repair DNA, and it declines with age. Intravenous NAD+ must be infused very slowly to reduce chest tightness or nausea. Most people report better energy and concentration, but the evidence in humans is still being studied. The doctor explains the data and limitations beforehand.
